Google these tragedies and look how much of our national debt is because of them. Congress overwhelmingly voted these funds to help in these disasters. So how is it Bush’s fault that it is still in our debts, do you want him to shut down all the government services until this is paid? Just what is it that you think would have been better?

Unfortunately every president for the last 80 years has made the same mistake, they spend more than they bring in and when they need more they just raise taxes instead of cutting spending. Unless Obama reduces drastically the size and power of the federal government he’ll be like the other presidents who just couldn’t help spending.
